I was admitted to The Communacable Disease Centre. its really a place where they store all the druggies that have IV diseases. or SARS patients or bird flu people. evidently, dengue fever is just as contageious as all these illnesses.
The CDC is really part of Tan Tock Seng. its also the oldest ward in singapore, like the doctor that sent me there commented. i got sent that becuase my platelet levels were down frm a healthy 300 something to 126 and then to 70. so i opted for a B2 ward and got admitted to ward 72 down the road from soc j. (its just that after soo many days in there, u kinda get used to the weird terms they use).the doctor that sent me in had actually a very high-twang nasal voice. like he was playing his voice like an instrument, almost coming across as a lady. after being in there for so many days, i have made many observations. one of them is this: All doctors are either gay, indian ladies, or look like complete nerds or have generic surnames like 'tan' and 'beng' (my dentist).(im sorry joel, ure in all these catogories.dont be a medical researcher)
so they chucked me into the system and i became a statistic. like those in the papers where they show the general increase of dengue patients or something. i rest knowing that i have contributed by one case in this. so exciting.
anyway, i think ill stop here for now.

something was quite ironic in school today. cant quite remember what it was. anyway, i got 14 pts with 2 69s and 2 74s. meaning i could have gotten 11 pts, up there with the big boys. i really didnt study hard this time, just leading myself blindly into believing i was seeing how i would fare if i laxed up( yes, i know the EOYs are not really good to experiment with)

Well I have finally triumphed over blogger’s block. I am once again welcomed by trumpets and celebratory shouts of joy from the people of Blogspot. The only probable reason for my success is because I am stuck in Chinese class where the second part of the movie is not being played on screen because the teacher doesn’t have the right working VGA cable. So only 3 psychophant (suck up) students are watching the stupid cheena movie. There are obviously staring at the screen sitting on the teacher’s table and she is desperately trying to engage in chit chat. Directly opposite me is terrence and he is using my iPod. Next to him is a Chinese chess game being played. I have forgotten to bring the novel so I am stuck here with nothing to do but just bang it out on the com and transfer it later to the blog. So all in all, the reason you see this post here today is because I really have nothing else to do.
I think I have a council meeting after this. I also received an (indecent) proposal to startup a business, but I cant say anymore or that person will probably kill me. So just WATCH THIS SPACE and wait for the day when I will announce my holiday job of a business man. The only problem with this proposal is that I don’t really believe in this kind of business, but I just want to make a quick buck. So I believe that I cant really do much if I don’t believe in what I am doing. So I will just have to wait and think about it. Anyway that person is the type of person who has really big dreams that tend to be a bit too big for the rest of us.
Another thing that scares me is actually school leadership. What I mean is if ure sec 2, and you look up to your sec 3s and think that have loads and loads of experience, DON’T! I m not saying that they’re bad but just imagine this, one year before, the leaders were just like you. Its like you’re being thrust up into leadership in the shadow of you previous leaders and their great capabilities. It’s probably because of this short time span you have in this environment, just two years to reach a level of seniority. But really, I don’t think you would understand what I’m trying to say so I suggest you (sec 2s) take this up with me sometime.
OK, I still have 45 mins to kill, I think I’ll find a copy of the new straits times and circle with a red pen all the uppercase Ms I can find.
(it is later that ermest watched SWAT at the video show halfway, so it wasnt really that bad a day or that good a day either, anyone care to lend me the DVD so i can finish up? Blogger's block is not really like writer's block. the difference is that writers block usually occurs becuase the writer has nothing to write about and usually ends up writing a book based on his day or week. blogger's block is when you have eveything that you want to write, usualyy based on your day and week, but you just don't want to write. it is really a dark and irritating obstacle, blogger's blog. suspicion casts itself over you and you really wnat to know why you started blogging anyway. anyway, i will not go on anymore because i will get carried on by the rhetoric and i am not really that good a speller.
school is pretty back to normal and this means lessons, but i like chinese lessons. the teacher brought in a cheena movie and we watched it. she then called in another class to watch it. the actors were speaking so fast in that really cheena accent that we really were squinting to catch the chinese subtitles. after a while, the speedy conversations made a few of us sleepy, so we just closed our eyes and listened to the enriching chinese movie. really we did listen. after the short ( 1hr) movie, we went to sleep in proper. it was really the best sleep i had during lessons. it lasted for half an hour and im sure i was drooling all over the table. i woke up with pins and needles in the right leg. the pins and needles were really bad, its the type where you really cant move your leg or you would think that it would fall off and you would running around screaming or holding or to terence(who was sleeping too) to get thru the pain. my mind was telling me that it was a good sleep but my leg was telling me it was damned stupid of me to fall asleep for such a long time. again contradicting body parts were never God's intentions.
i would really want to carry on but i have weirdly hit again by blogger's blog.
if you have to take away one thing from this post today is this:
its really okay to download music but not till the thousands causing a big hole in the reccord companies, they will probably knock on you door and you will be screwd, setting you back about 20 000 bucks. so just be safe, and stop downloading everything that you can find.

You must be really wondering who J was in the previous post. The thing is I dont really want to cynically reveal the names of the people I talk about (usually negative, you see why right?) usually the person who is being talked about will know that its them, but they cant complain about it. wow, its like talking behind your back, but you have a screen in front of you telling you what I think, its like a window into my brain. wow.
I dont really like H. i think a lot of people think that we get along well. most people. but really i cant stand H. it can get so irritaing that i get an electronic aura that H is online on MSN without really hovering over his nick to check who it is.
H's nick would usally be a three or four word one with a bit of his likes like *hint**hint* sports and music. ok enough about H anyway. i think H's attitude can be summed up easily by two words that are not even words. nyah nyah. yes it came from TIME( H reads TIME too, how ironic) so i should think it would constitute as a hip and fresh and most importantly, usable word. nyah nyah was used in the context of describing the facial contortions of Dubaya in the first presedential debate. it can apply to H then. its hard to really talk to H, i tend to avoid him. grrr..
i think im quite a friendly person, as in i can talk to anyone but under the right umm.. conditions. so in the environment H and I am in, its kind of LaDiDa, very approachable place. i can get along with people mostly. but not H.
so H i am soory that you are the first victim of my electronic rantings.
now its time to watch Survivor.

I think have quite a boring life. The first thing I do after the exams are to visit the-wait for it- the library! Gosh, I don't think there's anyone around that actually does that anymore. I think the J played me out. Anyway, I borrowed 4 books, isn't that the limit in books?, I just sourced out John Grisham and Dan Brown, couldn't find the latter. So I just 3 other books with really nice covers or spines. I hope the books are as good as they look. One of them has a few pages missing, more on that later.

I don't know why I revived this blog, not really a revival but just you know a new one created but not using the old one. I mostly begin after the exams, like the one after my birthday walk home last year. Most people usually pent up their cynical, witty thoughts during these ... those hard times. I'm so excited I'm typing this on TextEdit, the Mac version of Text Pad, while watching The O.C.

The book was missing the first 8 pages, most people complain about the last few pages missing. Personally I can't see why the first few pages of Witch Hunt, something about terrorists lah, not scary banshees or me trying to learn black magic or witch craft, can have pages missing at THE START. Anyway the author had a weird name, Ian Rakin writing as Jake Harvey. I mean come on, just decide on a fake name to escape the limelight, its not like it was a Ian Rakin in the story, I did flip through the book though, just for fun. Maybe the publishers and editors made a mistake.

My dad smiles when he watches The Apprentice, he was practically grinning. Ok, it was justifiable, it was the part where the Donald asked whatever the winner's name was here what he was doing together with the losers. My dad was smiling. One foot on the pin cushion taking out his socks. Its a bit weird, he was like smiling more than the winner. It's a bit weird to see my father, stern, strict, poker-faced actually laughing silently at some reality show. I kept peeking and checking on him to see when he would stop. Yeah I do that sometimes, but if its some comedy or bad acting like on Channel i. Anyway, I still have to decide what to do tomorrow and Ryan just learnt that his ex is tying to get back together with him but yet she's engaged to another guy. Much more fun than watching your dad grin.

grrr....
